You’ll create your very own peachbloom felt teardrop or pillbox headpiece start to finish

How to block your hat to trimming and creating the details and enjoy making your very own hat

10-3 the first day blocking and making the trims

You’ll learn the art of blocking using Lisas teardrop block, steaming is a huge part of the process with this luxury felt, peach bloom made with rabbit fur

Whilst the felt is moulding to the shape you’ll be busy looking at the details of how you’d like your hat to look

Lisa will be with you also helping to ensure you have the perfect hat

Second Day

Trimming the hat is a huge part of the process and the best bit as this is the part where your headpiece will come to life, decide whether a band or elastic is best for your head and also decide on the types of detail

Felt trim? Feather trims, you’ll have a showroom of knowledge and Lisa to guide you along the way.

Quantity

Terms of Hire

Most hats shown on site are available for hire at £90-140, depending on the style. Copy the name of the item(s) you'd like to hire and contact Lisa for availability.

Physical collection - Items are hired for 7 days from day of collection and must be returned by noon on day 7.

Mail hire - Items are sent 2 days before your hire date and must be returned by day 5. Tracked postage is required.

All hat hires are to be returned with box in perfect condition or additional charges will be issued.

Refund Policy

Please note that all orders have a lead time of 4-6 weeks (unless the item is in stock) and are non-refundable.

However, if you find the style isn't right for you then, you may exchange for something else within 1 year of purchase.

* Excludes bespoke and internationally shipped orders, which are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
** Exchanged hats may not be exchanged again.

International Shipping

Please note that all international shipments are shipped under the DAP INCOTERM (2020), so you will need to organise import customs clearance and pay any import Duty and VAT that is applicable. Lisa von Hallwyl Millinery will pass on any additional costs for delays with clearance if they are incurred.
