Millinery has always been a passion of mine and the arts of fashion, headwear and accessories, however teaching the art of millinery is also a close favourite as i get to talk about my passion to other fellow budding creators or if they just want something fun as a day out.
In Switzerland where my name is from Bern, its not only fun but very different as an art form, so I thought why not bring my designs and millinery flair to none other than Schloss Hallwyl.
Now the clue is in the title but it was once my Ancestors castle, it was sold and renovated to become a beautiful museum with all the relics of my ancestors with the line of Hallwyls past and present.
To teach in the castle is such a privilege and an honour, Now the running joke is centuries ago when heads weren't adorned as such they were lopped off in the gallows opposed to a new age of adorning and creating, accentuating one's head with beautiful hats.
